Indo-Pak venture announced

Producer Sheet Srivastava has signed Pakistani film director Javed Raza for his second venture, which will be made under the banner Overall Entertainment. It will star Indian and Pakistani actors and will be shot in India, Dubai and Pakistan. Producer Sheet Srivastava's first Indo-Pak production, yet untitled, is in the final post-production stages. It stars Mummar Rana, Zara Sheikh, Veena Mallik (Pakistan) and Neha Dhupia (special appearance). Directed by Javed Raza, it has music by Bobby- Amjad. The film was shot in Lahore and Mumbai.

Mumbai Salsa on October 26

The shooting of ASA. Film Pvt Ltd's Mumbai Salsa has been completed. It is slated for release on October 26. The film was shot in a single schedule in Mumbai. Written-directed by Manoj Tyagi and produced by Surendra Sharma, Amita Bishnoi and Bhagwanti Gabrani, it has music by Adnan Sami.

Good Luck dubbing complete

Director Aditya Datt completed the dubbing of producers Karan of Om Film Company and Jagdish Sharma of JK Films' Good Luck. Cast: Aryeman, Sayali Bhagat, Archana Puran Singh, Sharat Saxena, Mushtaq Khan, Baby Aarya, Pubali Sanyal, Upasana Singh, introducing Raajveer and Naazneen Patel, Ranveer Shorey and Lucky Ali. Ziddi Padosan song in Bangkok

A song of producer Anant Gupta's Ziddi Padosan will be shot in Bangkok. Directed by Vicky Kharat with music by Vicky Hardik, it stars Vrunda, Nirbhay Bhatia, Shakti Kapoor, Sharat Saxena, Anjan Shrivastav, Himani Shivpuri, Razzak Khan, Upasana Singh, Pardeep Mahendru, Mukesh Bhatt, Gaffar Khan, Gauri Shankar and Shahbaaz Khan. Second song of Good Luck recorded

Director Aditya Datt recorded the second song under the supervision of music director Anu Malik for producers Karan and Jagdish Sharma of Om Film Company and J.K. Films’ tentatively titled Good Luck. It was penned by Sameer and rendered by Lucky Ali and Akruti at Ashok Honda Studios. The song will be picturised on sets erected at Mehboob Studios, SJ Studios and Cinevista.

Rafoo Chakkar into pre-mixing

Friday Pictures' Rafoo Chakkar – Fun on the Run has gone into pre-mixing. Produced by Farid Khan, directed by BH Tharun Kumar and written by Ikram Akhtar, the film stars Aslam Khan, Yudhishtir, Nauheed Cyrusi, Nisha Rawal, Archana Puransingh, Mita Vashishta, Shakti Kapoor, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Tinnu Anand and Ananth Mahadevan.

First copy out of Anubhav

The first copy of Famous Studio's Anubhav is out. Famous is producing this movie under its film division MMR Entertainments Pvt Ltd. Cast: Sanjay Suri, Gul Panag, Jackie Shroff, Raj Zutsi, Meeta Vashisht, Sudha Chandran, Anoop Menon and Shruti Seth.

The Forest due in September

Aditya Datt to direct Good Luck

Producer Karan and Jagdish Sharma have signed director Aditya Datt for their forthcoming film Production No 7, titled Good Luck, to be made under the banner of Om Film Company and JK Films. Aryeman plays the lead role. The film has music by Anu Malik, lyrics by Sameer, story-screenplay by Aditya Datt and Rajan Agarwal, dialogues by Raman Bharadwaj, action by Abbas Ali Moghul, art by Nitish Roy, camera by A K N Sebastian and editing by Irfan Sheikh. Sahara One signs Bheja Fry director

Sahara One Motion Pictures has signed Bheja Fry director Sagar Ballary for three films. The script of the first film under this arrangement is in its final stages and the project shall be going on floor by end of this quarter. The plots for the other two projects have also been finalized and scripting of the films will start soon. The first film with Sahara is another funny film called Kaccha Limboo, a story of a fat, goofy thirteen-year-old boy who is caught amidst conflicting worlds of peer-pressure, puppy love, familial frustrations and high-school dilemmas. Unable to cope, he follows his dream world of rebellion and runs away from everything in an attempt to carve out a special identity for himself.

Kabhi Kahin in final stages

The last two songs, including the title song for R-Vision (Music) P Ltd’s Kabhi Kahin, were recorded on May 30 at Ashok Honda Recording Studio. Ravindra Singh and Tarannum sang the numbers, which were penned by A M Turaz and tuned by Rais Bhartiya. Produced by Ravindra Singh and directed by Amol Shetge, the film is 90 per cent complete. The film cast includes Ashmit Patel, Tulip Joshi, Anubhav Anand, Sachin Khedekar and Sanjay Narvekar.

Roohs’ first copy due

The post-production work of Vijayshri Pictures’ Rooh will be completed on June 7 and the first print will be out on June 12. Produced-directed by Sanjay Khandelwal and Ravi K Patwa, the film stars Sudesh Berry, Adarsh Kumar, Meenakshi Sharma, Meghna Govil and Sudhir Batavia.

Shibani composes song for Sunday

Singer cum composer Shibani Kashyap has specially composed and sung a song for Rohit Shetty's Sunday. Titled Kashmakash, the song has lyrics by Virat Mishra, who also wrote her song Zinda<>/I>.

Mumbai Salsa shoot begins

The shooting of ASA Film P Ltd's Mumbai Salsa commenced from May 21. The film is being shot in a single schedule and will wrap up by July 10. Vikram Bhatt presents the film, which is written-directed by Manoj Tyagi and produced by Surendra Sharma, Amita Bishnoi and Bhagwanti Gabrani. The film will launch eight newcomers: Vir Das, Indraneil Sengupta, Ray Irani, Dilip Thadeshwar, Manjari Fadnis, Linda Arsenio, Amruta and Neelam Chauhan.

Ankush 2 shooting completes

Producer Subhash R Duragkar completed the entire shooting of TVisha S Films Ankush 2 – Today’s Youth Power on May 23 in a non-stop 15-day stint. The entire talkie portions and four songs were picturised on Uttar Kumar, Shivam Pandey, Aniket Kelkar, Milind Jadhav, Nisha Parulekar, Sarla Yevlekar, Neha Dandale, Jyoti Keskar, Swati Sharma, Sunil Godse, Nidhi Sharma, Kavita Joshi, Rajesh Duragkar and Subhash Duragkar.

Faraar last song recorded

The sixth and last song of M Cineflix Productions Faraar was recorded on May 19 at Gilson Recording Studios. Abhijeet Sawant rendered the song under the baton of music director Vaishnav Deva.

Thodi Masti Thoda Pyar shoot ends

Producer-director Ranjeet Rana has completed the entire shooting of Creative Team's Thodi Masti Thoda Pyar. Three songs and sequences were picturised from May 1-15.

Detective Nani to release in July

Bappi Lahiri recorded a song for Aaishwarya Movie Productions’ maiden venture Jhoom – Dance with me again in the voices of Gayatri Iyer and Daler Mehndi. Produced by Aaishwaryaa Babbar and directed by Sweta B Subhaas, the film is written by Malvieka and Sweta. It stars Aziz, Onjolee Nair, Bobby Sainiyol, Tashu Kaushik and Sofia Chikara.

Song of Victoria no 203 picturised

Producer-actor Kamal Sadanah will commence shooting of Thoda Sa Thero, the famous Saira Banu song picturized on her in the original Victoria No 203. The song, choreographed by Rekha Chinni Prakash, will feature Soniya and Kamal. A TA Shah Group of Companies presentation, the film is directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan.

Producers Raaj Gandhi and Anand Rai Indeevar have completed the entire shooting of their maiden venture Kuchh Khel Kuchh Masti under the banner of RHG Films. Directed by Salar Shaikh and written-lyrics by Saajan Aggarwal with music by Shamir Tandon, the film introduces four new pairs, Raja Chaudhari, Raina Mukherjee, Darshan Dev, Bharti Sharma, Sangeet Haldipur, Nisha Chaudhari, Sameer Sayed and Tanurika, in lead roles with Vijay Raj, Yashpal Sharma, Pratima Kazmi, Shri Vallabh Vyas and Govind Namdeo with 40 artists of NSD. The post-production work is in full swing at Avitel.
